Boom Camp Stage Design and Fabrication
Coming in at at 9' x 16', this is easily the largest piece I've ever produced and it was designed entirely in Illustrator with vector shapes and color fills.
CHALLENGE: Keeping the weight down was a serious necessity so I printed this on 70/30 perforated banner scrim and cut out the center of the banner so that the tape deck folded up inside to reveal the DJ Booth. Along with a production partner at Sound Ethic, we reengineered the front 1/3 off of our geodesic dome and shored up the supports to stabilize a mount that was exactly 9' off the ground.
